Botswana And Zimbabwe Wildlife Without Boundaries

This safari that brings you face to face with abundant wildlife without boundaries; freely roaming in the vast expurgated savannah bushveld within such world famous parks, concessions and game reserves like Hwange, Makgadikgadi Pans, Chobe, Bwabwata, And Khwai, and Moremi.

This wildlife safari to Botswana and Zimbabwe would not be outside this world without going to the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls.

Day 1, Arrival in Victoria Falls

Vehicle and guide will collect you on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport njoy your evening at leisure in Victoria Falls.

Day 2, Transit to Hwange National Park and late game drive

Travel to Hwange National Park with a brief stopover at Hwange Colliery Mine. You will embark on a late afternoon game drive in Hwange Safari Lodge estate which is adjacent to Hwange National Park. Animals roam freely between the main park and this estate.

Day 3. Safari in Hwange National Park

Spend the day on game drive in Hwange national park to witness the amazing wildlife from open game viewers and many viewing the many platforms that are dotted around the park. Hwange was the home the world famous Cecil the Lion and park’s elephant population is one of the largest in the world. On a good day, you may even return to the lodge earlier as you will have seen all there is to be seen. Dinner and overnight will be at the Hwange Safari Lodge.

Day 4. Cross boarder transit to Nata lodge

With an early start, drive to Makgadikgadi Pans Game Reserve via Kazungula along a road known as the ‘game drive route. The pan is the greatest breeding sites of large flocks of Flamingos and Pelicans in southern Africa. Overnight at Nata lodge, a popular stopover between Maun and Kasane.

Day 5. Safari in Khwai Concession

After a sumptuous breakfast at camp, drive to Khwai Concession of the Okavango. Khwai Concession is a prime game viewing area that is owned and actively managed by villagers.  This is an unfenced boundary allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season.  This will allow you to immerse yourself completely in incredibly scenery, wildlife, untouched wilderness and experience safari of a lifetime.

Day 6. Safari in Moremi Reserve

After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an unrivalled guided safari experience in Moremi Reserve. Quality time will be spent exploring the perfectly constructed puzzle of mosaic of grasslands, floodplains, palm-tree islets, forests, lily lagoons and winding water channels in search of big five and elusive cats like lion, cheetah, leopard and an incredible variety of other wildlife species.

Day 7. Transit to Guma lagoon Camp

Drive from Khwai region to western side of the delta for outstanding peace and tranquility as well one of the most beautiful places in the world and exclusive view of the largest lagoons in the north west of the Okavango Delta. Overnight at Guma lagoon camp.

Day 8. Safari at Guma lagoon Camp

This day will also take the joy of safari to another level with the serene, dream-like gliding through the papyrus waterways in mokoros. Learn about the ecology of the waters and look at all the important components of the ecosystem from the skilled locals in command of the mokoros.

Day 9. Transit to Namibia

After an early breakfast, check out Guma lagoon camp and cross through the Mahembo border post into Namibia.  Located in the north east of Namibia on the Botswana border, Bwabwata National Park is a bird watchers paradise good game “off the beaten track” with a true wilderness feel. Depart for a late afternoon a sundowner drive to in our vehicle in search of to see Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, wild dog, Hippo, Crocodile, Warthog Baboon and Vervet Monkey and several  bird species.

Day 10. Transit to Chobe Lodge

Head back into Botswana through Ngoma boarder via Caprivi Strip. Proceed to Chobe Safari Lodge or something similar, situated in the Chobe National Park on the River. The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. Visitors can look forward to some large herds of Elephant cross the River from Namibia to Botswana.

Day 11. Safari in Chobe National Park

Enjoy morning game drive game drive on an open game-viewing vehicle with ranger and tracker. Later on, end your day with a stunning boat cruise boat cruises providing a wildlife experience to savour.

Day 12, Transit to Victoria Falls and legendary Mosi-Oa-Tunya or The Smoke That Thunders

After a sumptuous breakfast at Camp, pack your bags and cross into Zimbabwe. You will spend your late afternoon visiting the must-see legendary Victoria Falls one of the most remarkable natural wonders of the world, known as Mosi-Oa-Tunya or The Smoke That Thunders.

Day 13, Optional activities Victoria Falls

Enjoy a hearty breakfast; head out for the whole day at your own leisure in Victoria Falls. Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or micro lights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal). Finally, there is no better place for a delicious dinner and a cosy evening at the Boma Place of eating.

Day 14, Depart Victoria Falls

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
